KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Ben Reiter of the Kalamazoo College men's basketball team has been honored by the MIAA as the Player of the Week in the conference.
Reiter, a junior from Rochester, Mich. (Stoney Creek HS), had a big week for the Hornets by scoring 15 points in Wednesday's win over Adrian and then pouring in 25 points in the win over Alma on Saturday.
The forward put in over 30 minutes in each of Kalamazoo's wins this week. He connected on 14 of 26 shot attempts while making six of 14 three-pointers.
Reiter is tied for second on Kalamazoo's team in scoring at 12.4 points per game.
The Hornets will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 30 when they host Hope College at 7:30 p.m.
