KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jeremiah Vincent of the Kalamazoo College men's basketball team has been honored as the men's Hornet of the Week by the Athletic Leadership Council.
Vincent, a sophomore from Kalamazoo, Mich. (Kalamazoo Central HS), averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game this week.
The Hornets picked up two big MIAA wins this week over Adrian and Alma. In Saturday's overtime win over Alma, Vincent set a new career high in points with 31.
Vincent is now averaging 12.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season for Kalamazoo. These marks are second and first on the team, respectively.
This marks the second time this season that Vincent has been named Hornet of the Week by the ALC.
Kalamazoo will return to play on Wednesday, Jan. 30 as they host Hope College at 7:30 p.m.
