KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Ben Reiter of the Kalamazoo College men's basketball team was honored on Tuesday as the ALC Hornet of the Week.
Reiter, a junior from Rochester, Mich. (Stoney Creek HS), put together a big week for the Hornet basketball team in a three game week.
The junior forward scored 60 points for Kalamazoo this week. He averaged 5.6 rebounds per game over this stretch.
Reiter's games of 23 points against Hope and 24 against Calvin were his fifth and sixth games of 20 or more points this season.
His 13.9 points per game lead the Hornets with just two regular season games to play.
Kalamazoo will host its final home game of the season on Wednesday, Feb. 13 against Trine. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
