KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Ben Reiter of the men's basketball team was honored by the Kalamazoo College Athletic Leadership Council as Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.
Reiter, a junior from Rochester, Mich. (Stoney Creek HS), capped off his third season as a Hornet by scoring 42 points in Kalamazoo's final two games.
The forward finished the season averaging 14.5 points per game on the season and 16.0 points per game in MIAA contests. Both marks led the Hornets.
His scoring average jumped from 10.8 points per game last season as he shot at a 43.8 percent clip this year.
This marks the third time this season that Reiter has been honored as the Hornet of the Week.
