Ty Horky was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Monday. It is his second selection as Hornet of the Week this season.
A sophomore from Manchester, Mich. (Manchester HS), Horky averaged 14.5 points per game in two games last week, including a career-high 27 against North Central on Tuesday.
On the season, Horky leads the Hornets with 12.5 points per game while averaging 2.9 rebounds and two assists per game.
The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team returns to action January 5 when the Hornets open MIAA play at Alma.
