OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo men's golf team turned in a round of 312 on day two of the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament held at Bedford Valley Country Club. The Hornets finished in ninth place.

Senior Will Reichle shot a 74, the low round of the day for the Hornets. Freshman David Smith turned in a scorecard of 75 while junior Scott Manski shot a round of 80.

"It was great to see our senior, Will Reichle bounce back with a round of 74 to lead the team today," Kalamazoo Head Coach Mitch Wilson said. "We are having fun and being competitive."

Smith finished the weekend with rounds of 76 and 75 for a total of 151.

Kalamazoo returns to action Thursday, Sept. 5, when it travels to Albion for the first of eight Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamobrees.
