Three members of the Kalamazoo College men's golf team were awarded All-MIAA Second Team honors at the conclusion of the season's final MIAA Jamboree on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Nick Ludka (76.3), Travis Veenhuis (76.6) and David Smith (76.8) all earned the recognition as a result of their average score over the course of the fall's eight jamborees. It is the first time in program history that the team has placed three members on the All-MIAA first and second teams.
Kalamazoo finished fourth in the final league standings, the program's best finish since 1993. By finishing in the top four, Kalamazoo earns its first ever trip to the spring MIAA Tournament which determines the league's automatic qualifier to the NCAA III Championships.
