The 2015-16 Kalamazoo College men's golf team earned the GCAA (Golf Coaches Association of America) Team Academic Award again this season.
By maintaining a team GPA of 3.0 or higher, Kalamazoo was one of 38 schools in Division III to earn the Team Academic Award. Kalamazoo was one of just six teams in Division III to earn President's Special Recognition with a team GPA above 3.5. The Hornets are just one of 41 teams in all divisions to achieve that status.
The 2015-16 men's golf team had its best season since 1993, finishing fourth in the conference and earning its first trip to the MIAA's Spring NCAA Qualifying Tournament. The Hornets also had three players earn All-MIAA honors for the first time in school history.
