SANDUSKY, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished third overall with a two-day score of 614 at the Cameo Pizza Battle at the Brook Tournament hosted by Ohio Wesleyan at Plum Brook Country Club Saturday and Sunday.
Kalamazoo shot 314 on Saturday and improved 14 strokes to 300 on Sunday.
Jackson Jones led Kalamazoo on Sunday with a season-best even par 71. He finished sixth overall with a combined score of 150.
Travis Veenhuis shot a 75 on Sunday while Nick Ludka came in at 76. Trevor Bailey shot 78.
Trevor Bailey led the Hornets on Saturday with a 76. Travis Veenhuis and Jackson Jones each came in at 79, while Nick Ludka shot an 80.
Kalamazoo returns to action Sept. 19 with an MIAA Jamboree hosted by Adrian.
