KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Kalamazoo College's Jackson Jones of the men's golf team was named Player of the Week by the MIAA on Monday.
Jones, a sophomore from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (Seaholm HS), led all players at Pinewild Country Club in Pinehurst, NC with a 75 last Monday.
Jones is now averaging a score of 75.1 in matches during the 2018-19 season while having a scoring average of 76.2 in MIAA contests.
This marks the second time in Jones' young career that he has been honored as the MIAA Player of the Week. Jones was also named ALC Hornet of the Week once during the fall season.
Kalamazoo returns to action April 8 with the Steven Tyler Intercollegiate at The Moors in Portage, Mich.
