BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team opened the 2019-20 season at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament hosted by Olivet at Bedford Valley.
Kalamazoo shot 297 on Friday to tie for second overall with Hope. Allegheny led the 13-team field with a 293.
Parker Pickell shot a one-under 71 to lead the Hornets and tie for second overall.
Jackson Jones came in at 73 while Mathew Holmes-Hackerd (75) and Alec Rosenbaum (78) rounded out the top four.
Saturday's final round is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
