BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished ninth at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament hosted by Olivet College Friday and Saturday.
Kalamazoo shot 308 on Friday and 312 on Saturday.
Parker Pickell tied for first overall with a combined score of 142 after shooting a 2-under 70 on Friday and even 72 on Saturday. He was defeated in a playoff for the individual win.
Tyler Omness combined for 151 (77-74). Alec Rosenbaum shot 160 (78-82) followed by Aidan Lancaster (83-84-167) and Charlie Mulcahy (92-98-190).
The Hornets are scheduled to open the conference season on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at Duck Lake (Albion).
