Men's Lacrosse Dropped by Calvin in OT

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team fell Tuesday night to Calvin in a game that ended with a 10-9 score less than one minute into overtime. 

Kalamazoo got off to an early 5-2 lead after one quarter including four unanswered goals following Calvin's goal to begin the game. 

The teams played to a 2-2 score in the second period to take a 7-4 score into the break. 

The Knights outscored the Hornets 5-2 in the second half to send the game into overtime and connected on a scoring opportunity less than one minute into the extra period to win the game. 

Dylan McGorisk led Kalamazoo with four goals including three in the first quarter. 

Jake Bonifacio, Brett Fitzgerald, Zach MoralesDoug Shipp, and Brandon Wright each scored one goal. 

Jack Loveland tallied three assists for the Hornets. 

The Hornets return to action on Wednesday, April 17 as they travel to Trine for a 7 p.m. game.
