KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team dropped its game with Albion Saturday afternoon by a final score of 21-4.
The two teams traded goals in the first five mintes of the game to get out to a 1-1 tie, but the Britons outscored the Hornets 12-1 in the remainder of the half to take a 13-2 lead into halftime.
The Hornets were outscored 3-1 in the third and 5-1 in the fourth.
Albion outshot Kalamazoo 67-23 on the afternoon while having a 72-37 advantage in ground balls.
Jack Smith, Dylan McGorisk, Brandon Wright, and Doug Shipp all found the back of the net for Kalamazoo.
Jake Nugent and Jack Loveland each collected assists.
Kalamazoo will head to Adrian on Tuesday, April 23 for a 7 p.m. start with the Bulldogs.
