The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team was featured in the department's seventh edition of the summer's Top Moment Thursday from the 2022-23 season.
On their way to their first MIAA Tournament appearance in program history, the Hornets grabbed a thrilling 12-11 win over Calvin. After going down by two at the end of the first quarter, Kalamazoo turned the tide and grabbed an 8-5 lead at halftime. Then, the Hornets extended their lead to 12-7 with just 15 minutes to play. However, the Knights stormed back to get within one with 34 seconds left. Fortunately for Kalamazoo, an Eric Paternoster save as the final horn sounded clinched the victory.
