ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team won 3-0 at Trine University in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play on Wednesday.
Emerson Talanda-Fisher put the Hornets on the board 13 minutes into the game with a header off a corner kick by Kyle Hernandez.
After leading 1-0 at halftime, Kalamazoo scored again just three minutes into the second half when Cal Kirchen beat the goalkeeper after a pass from Spencer Macdonald.
Roger Mason Darling scored Kalamazoo's third goal with an assist by Brenden Groggel.
Kalamazoo outshot Trine 22-10 overall, including 7-5 on goal.
Beau Prey made all five saves in goal for the shutout.
Kalamazoo plays its final home game of the regular season against Hope College on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
