Men's Soccer loses regular season finale to Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team lost its season finale 2-1 at Adrian on Saturday.

Kalamazoo got on the board in the 25th minute on a goal by Matthew Fitz (Kyle Hernandez assist). 

After taking a lead into the 68th minute, Adrian put up two goals in the final 22 minutes (69th, 80th) to gain the win.

Kalamazoo outshot Adrian 12-3 overall, including 6-3 on goal. The Bulldogs committed 13 fouls compared to five on the Hornets.

Kalamazoo finishes the regular season 11-6-1 (10-4 MIAA), but the Hornets had already secured second place in the final MIAA regular season standings. Kalamazoo is now scheduled to host Alma College in an MIAA Tournament semifinal on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
