Men's Soccer falls to #2 Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer was defeated 4-1 by nationally ranked Calvin in Grand Rapids on Wednesday night.

The Hornets got on the board first in the 27th minute as Tim Jeske scored his second goal of the season off of an assist from Thomas Bryant. The goal was just the fourth given up by Calvin this season. The lead held for 10 minutes before Hunter Olsen scored for the Knights and Bobby McCaw tacked on another goal two minutes later to give Calvin a 2-1 halftime lead. Olsen and McCaw would each score again for the Knights in the final 10 minutes of the game to help Calvin to the victory. Calvin outshot the Hornets 13-4 and Griffin Hamel was busy in goal, making 5 saves for Kalamazoo.

The Hornets will travel to Albion on Saturday for their next match which kicks off at 12 p.m.
