KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team defeated Manchester this evening, 1-0.

In what was a defensive minded match, Kalamazoo was able to connect for the lone goal of the game when Collin Sweet found the back of the net in the 42nd minute. Jack Didato assisted on the play.

Freshman goalie Luke Kastran was a force for the Hornets today by earning the shutout and making four saves.

Kalamazoo had the edge in shots at 14 to 11 and shots on goal at six to four.

The Hornets return to MacKenzie Field on Tuesday, September 18 for a match at 5 p.m. against Michigan-Dearborn.
