The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team opened the 2013 MIAA Championships with a third place finish in the 800 Free Relay on Wednesday.
Kevin Ewing, Tyler Benmark, Cameron Wasko, and Dylan Shearer swam a time of 6:59.11 to finish third and earn 32 points towards the team score.
In the men's 1-meter diving prelims, Will Guedes posted the top score of 482.00 with Elliot Littman right behind at 429.25.
The meet resumes Thursday with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m. at Jenison High School. The meet runs through Saturday.
