Kalamazoo College's Will Guedes was selected as the MIAA Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Guedes, a senior from Brasilia, Brazil (South Bend John Adams HS), won the men's 1-meter diving with a meet record and personal best of 533.40, and placed second in 3-meter diving with 506.50 points at the Calvin Invitational. Both scores qualify Guedes for the NCAA meet.
This is Guedes' second career Athlete of the Week honor and first this season.
Kalamazoo returns to action at home against Calvin on Jan. 16, 2015.
