Guedes wins 3-meter event at MIAA Championships

HOLLAND, Mich. - Kalamazoo College's Will Guedes completed the diving sweep by winning the 3-meter event with a score of 612.10 on Friday. Guedes won the 1-meter on Thursday.

Kalamazoo is currently in second place with 476 points and one day remaining. Calvin leads with 613 points while Albion is third (441) and Hope is fourth (424).

Kalamazoo's 200 Medley Relay (Cam Wasko, Jake Lindquist, Jacob Wasko, Dylan Shearer) finished second on Friday with an NCAA "B" time of 1:32.46.

Kalamazoo took the second and third spots in the 100 Butterfly with Jacob Wasko finishing second (:50.89) and Tyler Fisher third (:51.87).

Kevin Ewing finished third in the 400 Individual Medley with an NCAA "B" time of 4:07.31 while Dylan Shearer finished third in the 100 Breaststroke with a "B" time of :56.27.

The 2015 MIAA Championships conclude on Saturday.
