NORFOLK, Va. - Both the Kalamazoo College men's and women's swimming and diving programs were named Scholar All-America teams for their achievements in the classroom during the fall term by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
In order to be eligible for the honor, teams must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above.
The women's program, compiling a 3.41 GPA, and the men's program, recording a 3.10 GPA, were among 354 different teams from around the country to receive the prestigious honor.
40 more teams were honored for their performance in the 2015 fall term than in the previous fall 2014 term.
