HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team lost its first dual meet of the season 167-133 at Hope on Saturday. Kalamazoo took first place in six events.
Sharif Shaker and Brenden French each won two events for the Hornets.
Event winners for Kalamazoo were:
400 Medley Relay (Shaker, French, Wasko, Polzin) - 3:40.22
Keyan Boniadi (1650 Freestyle) - 17:30.97
Sharif Shaker (200 Freestyle) - 1:49.59
Brenden French (100 Breaststroke) - 1:02.45
Brenden French (200 Breaststroke) - 2:21.32
Sharif Shaker (500 Freestyle) - 5:00.49
Kalamazoo returns to action next Saturday, Nov. 5 when the Hornets host Saginaw Valley State at 1 p.m.
