Men's Swimming & Diving Defeated by Illinois Tech

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team was defeated 125-111 by Illinois Tech in a home meet at Western Michigan University on Saturday. The Hornets are using WMU's pool this season while a new natatorium is built on Kalamazoo College's campus.

Kalamazoo took first place in four events on Saturday:

Grant Stille (50 Freestyle - :21.45)
Sam Ankley (1M - 272.80)
Matt Howrey (500 Freestyle - 5:06.53)
Sam Ankley (3M - 276.65)

The Hornets also finished second in several events:

400 Medley Relay (Tyler Sakalys-Moore, Brenden French, Oliver Tye, Luke Durden - 3:37.47)
