KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team earned spots in the finals of the consolation singles and doubles draw at the 2013 USTA/ITA Central Region Championships.
Freshman Jacob Scott earned a berth in the finals defeating Zachary McDivit 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinal round. In the finals, Scott fell 6-4, 6-4 to Ryan Bilbo.
Scott teamed up with fellow freshman Alberto Ayala team up to win the consolation doubles draw. The two freshman reached the final via walkover and did not surrender a game in the finals winning 8-0.
