Men's Tennis sweeps Luther

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Luther College 9-0 on Saturday. The Hornets swept the three doubles points before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Kalamazoo (4-1) entered the match ranked No. 10 in the region while the visiting Norse (4-4) were ranked No. 19.

Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus teamed up for an 8-6 win at one doubles. Eric De Witt and Robert Hudson won at two while Allen Vinson and Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado won atht three.

Metzler, ranked No. 18 in the nation in singles, won 6-2, 6-3 at one. Hudson, De Witt, Dantus, DelOlmo-Parrado and Vinson also won in singles.

Kalamazoo returns to action at Denison on March 5.
