No. 38 Men's Tennis downs Wabash

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The No. 38 ranked Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Wabash College Saturday afternoon, 7-2.

The win is the Hornets' fourth win in their last five matches.

Kalamazoo got itself off to a strong start in the match sweeping the doubles matches.

Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus won one doubles 8-6, Robert Hudson and Eric De Witt won two doubles 8-6 and Allen Vinson and Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado won 8-5 at three doubles.

In the singles matches, Metzler made quick work of his opponent winning 6-2, 6-1 in one singles.

Vinson and DelOlmo-Parrado also picked up their second wins of the day. Vinson won 6-1, 6-2 at four singles while DelOlmo-Parrado won 6-4, 6-1 at six singles.

Also picking up a win for K was Spencer Navarre at five singles. Navarre won 6-1, 6-0.

The Hornets will open Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play April 5 at Alma.
