KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team defeated Albion College 9-0 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play at Stowe Stadium on Wednesday.
Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus won 8-0 at one doubles. Eric De Witt and Spencer Navarre won 8-1 at two doubles while Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado and Jeremy DePree won by the same score.
In singles play Metzler (1) and Skyler Norgaard (6) did not lose a set. Dantus (2), De Witt (3), Navarre (4) and DelOlmo-Parrado won in straight sets.
Kalamazoo (10-3, 2-0 MIAA) returns to action on Thursday with a match at Hope College beginning at 4 p.m.
