CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team won a regional matchup 6-3 at Wabash College on Sunday.
Kalamazoo won two of the three singles matches before winning four singles matches to claim the win.
Tytus Metzler and Zack Ray earned an 8-3 win at three doubles while Allen Vinson and Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado won 8-4 at two.
Wabash evened the score at 2-2 with a win at one singles before Elan Dantus earned a 6-3, 6-4 win at three.
The Little Giants evened the score again (3-3) with a win at two singles, but Kalamazoo won the final three matches to complete the win.
DelOlmo Parrado won 6-1, 6-1 at five singles followed by Vinson's 6-1, 6-2 win at four to clinch the match. Ray made it a 6-3 final with a 7-5, 6-2 win at six.
Kalamazoo returns to action next weekend with three matches at Kenyon College.
