KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team, ranked No. 26 in the country, defeated Augustana 8-1 in the team's first home match of the season Saturday morning.
The Hornets picked up two points at one and two doubles before Augustana pulled back a point in a tight match at three doubles.
The Hornets swept the singles matches with Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado getting off the court first with a 6-2, 6-2 win at number four. Daniel Henry was pushed to three sets at number one before pulling out the win 6-2, 4-6, 10-4.
K will travel to Denison for the team's next match which will begin at 10 a.m. on February 3rd.
