ATLANTA, Ga. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost 8-1 at Emory University on Thursday.
Emory moved into the No. 3 spot in the nation on Thursday while the Hornets are ranked No. 27.
The host Eagles won all three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches.
Daniel Henry picked up Kalamazoo's only win at two singles, 7-6, 4-6, 10-8.
Ian Yi was defeated narrowly 6-4, 7-6 at one.
Kalamazoo returns home and begins MIAA play against Calvin next Wednesday, April 3 at 4 p.m.
