CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team lost 7-2 at Case Western Reserve University on Sunday.
The host Spartans entered the match ranked No. 14 in the nation and fifth in the region. Kalamazoo is ranked No. 27 in the nation and seventh in the region.
Ian Yi and Daniel Henry won 8-5 at one doubles.
Tytus Metzler won 6-2, 6-1 at three singles.
Yi won the first set 6-0 at one singles, but lost the second set 7-5 before retiring in the super tiebreaker.
Daniel Henry also split sets at two singles before losing 10-8 in the super tiebreaker.
Kalamazoo is back in action at home on Tuesday, April 9 with a 4 p.m. match against Olivet.
