KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Zack Ray was recognized as the Hornet of the Week by the Kalamazoo College
Athletic Leadership Council on Tuesday.
Ray partnered with Allen Vinson to win at No. 2 doubles in a 5-0 win over Wisconsin-Whitewater in the second round of the NCAA III Championships on Friday. The junior finished the season with a 12-9 record in doubles and is 35-23 in doubles in his career.
Ray was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in his first two seasons with this season's awards yet to be announced.
The men's tennis team won the MIAA regular season championship and the tournament championship and finished 14-7 overall.
