Men's Tennis Falls to #20 Kenyon

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by Kenyon College Saturday afternoon inside the Markin Center.

The visiting Owls entered the match ranked No. 20 in NCAA Division III and No. 5 in the Central Region. Kalamazoo entered the match ranked No. 8 in the Central Region.

Kenyon won two of the three doubles matches before claiming five of the six singles match to earn the win.

Gabe Vidinas/Peter Fitzgerald won 8-4 at one doubles.

Fitzgerald won 6-4, 6-2 at two singles.

Vidinas lost in a three-set match at one singles, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Kalamazoo hosts Oberlin College next Saturday, Feb. 11. The start time is still to be determined.
