Men's Tennis Defeated at No. 1 Case Western

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team was defeated 9-0 at Case Western Reserve University Sunday morning. The host Spartans are ranked No. 1 in the country and in the region. Kalamazoo is ranked No. 16 in the region.

Case Western won all three doubles matches before winning the six singles matches in straight sets.

Peter Fitzgerald/Gabe Vidinas lost 8-5 at one doubles. Casey Johnson/Adnan Alousi also lost 8-5 at two doubles.

Alousi won the most games in a set in singles, falling 6-4, 6-1 at three. Louis Landreau lost 6-3, 6-2 at five.

Kalamazoo returns to conference play Wednesday with a 4 p.m. match at Trine.
