HOLLAND - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team finished eighth at the MIAA Championships hosted by Hope on Saturday.
Alexander Townsend led Kalamazoo runners with a time of 27:12 to finish 41st overall.
David Demarest (28:08), Andrew Kaylor (28:16), Cory Gyulveszi (29:06), and Andrew Feeley (29:14) rounded out the top five for the Hornets.
Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete at the NCAA III Regionals on Nov. 16 at Calvin.
