OBERLIN, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's cross country team finished 34th at the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin on Saturday.
Garrick Hohm was the top finisher for the Hornets in 170th place with a time of 29:08.
"The guys are ready to run fast but by the time they raced the course had stretches with 3-inch deep mud," said Head Coach Kyle Morrison. "They battled the conditions the whole way but finished wanting to capitalize better on their current fitness. We will work on some race strategy and mental aspects as we freshen up for the MIAA Championships in two tweeks."
The MIAA Championships are scheduled for Oct. 29 at Saint Mary's.
