The 2023 Kalamazoo College softball team had nine individual student-athletes earn academic honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) this week.
There were 8,297 student-athletes recognized nationally from all college divisions with Easton / NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2022-23 academic year. NCAA Division III had 2,369 scholar-athletes, and NCAA Division I led all levels with 2,515 student-athletes honored.
Those Hornets that qualified with a GPA of 3.50 or higher were Bella Caza, Brynna Garden, Natalie Gross, Lucy Hart, Amy McNutt, Mackenzie Moore, Sam Moss, Emma Newlove, and Julia Rambo.
