Hoskins leads Hornets with 13 points in loss at Alma

The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 65-44 at Alma on Saturday.

Kalamazoo led during the first five minutes of the game, but trailed by six at halftime (31-25)  and throughout the second half as Alma pulled away for the win.

Alma shot 37.9 percent overall compared to 30.2 percent for Kalamazoo. The Scots held a 45-42 edge in rebounds, including 19-14 on the offensive end. Alma scored 25 points off 29 Kalamazoo turnovers.

India Hoskins matched her career high 13 with points while setting a career high with eight rebounds. Nicole Antoine scored 10 points with seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Querubin Dubois added six points in 14 minutes off the bench.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Saint Mary's on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
