Kalamazoo College's Kelsey Adamski was named MIAA Player of the Week on Monday.
A junior from Hickory Corners (Richland Gull Lake HS), Adamski averaged 17 points, six assists, five rebounds and 2.5 steals as the Hornets moved into sole possession of third place in the MIAA with two wins last week. She had 15 points, six assists and four steals in a 67-60 win over Olivet and 19 points, six assists and six rebounds in a 62-56 road victory over Adrian.
Adamski, who is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in her career, shot 48 percent from the field (10 of 21) and 71 percent from the line (12 of 17) while playing 75 of 80 minutes for the week.
Kalamazoo (12-7, 7-4) returns home to face Alma on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
