KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost its season finale 83-47 to No. 3 Hope College on Wednesday.
Kalamazoo gave the visiting Dutch a run in the first period, trailing just 22-15 after the first 10 minutes.
Hope came out on fire in the second period, however, outscoring Kalamazoo 35-9 to take a 57-24 lead into halftime.
Hope outscored Kalamazoo 16-14 and 10-9 in the third and fourth periods, respectively.
Hope shot 41.9 percent overall while making 10-of-30 3-pointers. Kalamazoo shot 30.2 percent with 2-of-17 3's. Hope outrebounded Kalamazoo 55-37.
Kelsey Adamski led Kalamazoo with 16 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Emily Kozal finished with 14 points.
Claire Slaughter added eight points with six rebounds and two steals.
