The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its All-Conference picks for women's basketball Friday afternoon, and Kalamazoo College's Emilly Kozal earned second team honors.

A sophomore from Ada, Mich., Kozal ended the 2015-16 season leading the MIAA with 16.8 points per league game while ranking second in 3-pointers made per game (2.2).

Overall this season Kozal averaged a team-high 14.1 points per game and the fifth highest overall average in the MIAA. She recorded the team's highest three-point shooting percentage while also corralling 3.9 rebounds per game.

She was named the MIAA's Player of the Week on Feb. 8 while in the midst of scoring 20 or more points in four straight games.

On Jan. 9 at Alma, Kozal put up a career-high 29 points on 10-of-14 shooting propelling K to a 73-69 win over the Scots.

The All-MIAA honor is Kozal's first in her collegiate career.
