Slaughter, Adamski named Champions of Character All-Stars

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Senior women's basketball players Kelsey Adamski and Claire Slaughter were named to the ninth annual Champions of Character College All-Star basketball games on March 30.

The games mix together a group of NCAA Division III, Division II, Division I and NAIA players from around the region to raise money for the Champions of Character and Make a Wish Foundation.

Adamski and Slaughter were each at the top of certain statistical categories for the Hornets during the 2015-16 season. Adamski was one of three players on the Hornets' roster to average double digit points (12.4 points per game). Slaughter was second on the team in rebounding, averaging 7.1 rebounds per game, including a team leading 3.5 offensive rebounds per game.

The games are scheduled to be played at Davenport University's Student Athletic Center with the women's game beginning at 6 p.m.
