KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Powered by a strong offensive performance from Suzanne Miller, the Kalamazoo College women's basketball pulled out a 77-64 win Wednesday evening inside Anderson Athletic Center over Olivet College.

Miller posted a career-high 30 points, 23 of those coming in the second half, as she jumped started the Hornets after they trailed 33-31 at halftime. Emily Kozal gave K its first lead of the game as she drilled a three-pointer to begin the second half and eight straight points for Miller midway through the third quarter allowed K to cling to a 52-50 lead heading to the fourth.

Over the first six minutes of the fourth quarter, the Hornets strung together an 11-0 run and it was Miller who iced the game down the stretch at the free throw line going 10-for-12 in the fourth quarter alone.

Also scoring in double digits for K were Emily Kozal and Libby Munoz who scored 13 and 11 points, respectively. Kozal also brought in a team-high eight rebounds.

Danielle Simon put in a strong overall performance scoring six, while registering six rebounds, five assists and two steals. Grace Smith recorded eight points and six rebounds while Mya Gough also brought in six boards herself.

The Hornets will honor their seniors this Saturday, Feb. 18 when they host Albion College in the regular season finale. Tip is scheduled for 1 p.m.
