Grace Smith was one of 10 women's basketball players across all college divisions selected to the 2017 Allstate WBCA Good Works Team. As part of that honor, Smith spent the weekend at the Women's Final Four in Dallas.
In addition to attending all of the Final Four games, Smith and the other Good Works Team members were recognized on court during the UConn/Mississippi State semifinal Friday night.
The group of players also attended the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) Keynote Address, had a meet-and-greet with the WBCA Executive Director, participated in an autograph session at the Final Four's Tourney Town event and held a community event and clinic with Skylar Diggins at a children's medical center in Fort Worth.
In addition to the Good Works Team recognition, Smith recently earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for her contributions on the court, in the classroom and in the community.
