Women's Basketball Defeated at Hope

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 93-34 at Hope on Monday.

The Flying Dutch were ranked No. 10/11 in last week's Top 25 polls.

Hope shot 41.2 percent overall while holding Kalamazoo to 23.3 percent. The Flying Dutch outrebounded Kalamazoo 65-37 overall, including 26-9 on the offensive end.

Kaytlyn Tidey led the Hornets with 11 points and five rebounds. Amanda Moss added 10 points.

Georgie Andrews pulled down a team-high nine rebounds to go with four points. Sierra Fraser had eight rebounds with three points and three blocked shots.

Kalamazoo returns to action Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Olivet.
