Laila Vincent was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Women's Hornet of the Week on Monday. It is her second selection as Hornet of the Week this season.
A freshman from Kalamazoo, Mich. (Kalamazoo Central), Vincent averaged 13.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a pair of games last week. She scored 14 points with eight rebounds against Defiance on Thursday before scoring 13 points with 15 rebounds and three blocked shots in a 67-56 win at Dominican University on Saturday.
On the season, Vincent averages 12.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team is back in action Monday evening with a 7 p.m. game against Grace Christian University.
