Women's Basketball Falls at No. 2 Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 82-38 at No. 2 Trine University on Monday. The Thunder moved into the second spot in the latest D3hoops.com poll after knocking off No. 1 Hope on the road last week.

Trine shot 48.5 percent in the game while holding Kalamazoo to 28.3 percent. Each team had 40 rebounds, with Trine holding a slight 15-13 edge on the offensive end.

Kaytlyn Tidey led the Hornets with eight points and three rebounds. 

Greta Wedge scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting. Laila Vincent finished with five points, five rebounds, four blocked shots and three assists.

Kalamazoo returns to action Tuesday with a game at Saint Mary's at 7 p.m. That game was moved up from Wednesday due to a forecasted winter storm.
