Women's Basketball Falls at Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was defeated 98-45 at Anderson University on Saturday.

The host Ravens jumped out to an early lead and led 54-19 at halftime.

Anderson shot 39 percent overall while holding Kalamazoo to 23.9 percent. The Ravens also sank 15-of-42 three-pointers compared to 3-of-13 by the Hornets. Kalamazoo sank 20-of-27 free throws compared to 19-of-24 by Anderson. The Ravens held a 46-41 advantage in rebounds, including 15-5 on the offensive end.

Jordan Wesaw led Kalamazoo with nine points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.

Jackie Brines scored seven points with seven rebounds. Kaelyn Arlington scored seven points with six rebounds.

Taylor Dinda added six points.

Kalamazoo returns to action next Saturday, Nov. 25, with a 1 p.m. game at Manchester.
